Connection Finds Us – When we say yes to new spaces, people and experiences.

October has already been full of unexpected moments and meaningful connections.

On 10 October, I spent the day at a retreat leaders event in London – a space filled with people who share a deep passion for creating experiences that help others pause, reconnect and breathe. I met inspiring new contacts, and I have a feeling a few may become friends and future collaborators.

There was such a strong sense of shared purpose in the room, a reminder that when you place yourself in the right spaces, the right people often find you.

Two days later, I swapped London’s calm for the bright lights of Las Vegas to attend Oracle AI World. I’d been nominated by my colleagues for the wellbeing contributions I make in my day job, and winning the opportunity to attend was a real honour. To attend with colleagues, customers and partners from all over the world was a huge privilege and an energising, inspiring and intense week.

On my last day, after a visit to the The Mob Museum, my colleague and I jumped into what we thought was a regular Uber back to the hotel. Halfway through the ride, we realised we’d accidentally booked a shared one.

At first, we were a little irritated (our tired feet were ready to be horizontal). But as the journey unfolded, something shifted. The detour gave us time to see corners of Las Vegas we’d have otherwise missed and to share a long, unexpected conversation with our fellow passenger.

He was on his way to meet his partner who lives in Romania (which happened to be where my colleague is from) and he was attending a conference on plant medicines for mental health and works with cacao, something I’m deeply interested in myself.

What started as a frustrating mistake turned into one of those beautiful moments of connection that remind me how often magic lives in the unplanned.

After 80,000 steps across the 5 days and countless handshakes, I made sure to gift myself a head, hands and feet massage before heading home and this weekend, I’ve booked a sound bath to help me land softly after all the intensity.

And now, from London’s grounded energy to Vegas serendipity… to the calm of Menorca 🌿

On Monday, I’m opening general registration for Meditation & Mindfulness in Menorca 2026. This retreat is about slowing down, reconnecting with yourself, and remembering what truly matters.

✨ 4 of the 8 places are already reserved by my waitlist and alumni community.
✨ My email list will get early access before it’s made public – so subscribe now if you’re not already on it.

If Menorca has been on your heart, this is your moment to lean in.
