24-28 September 2026
If you’re a professional woman who’s ready to take the next step in your wellbeing journey, someone who is looking for deeper connection, with yourself and like-minded women and who knows you need more than just a holiday, then this retreat is for you.
In the peaceful setting of Menorca, you’ll have the chance to step away from the day-to-day, gift yourself the time to truly rest and recharge, and lean into practices of mindfulness and meditation. It’s a space for relaxation, reflection, and to do the inner work that creates lasting change.

Your Sanctuary in Menorca
Together we will spend four nights (Thursday to Monday) on the serene Mediterranean island of Menorca, the quietest of the Balearics and a world away from the rush of everyday life. Here, time slows to the rhythm of gentle waves and golden sunsets. The island is a sanctuary of soft sandy coves, whitewashed villages, and skies painted in endless shades of blue.
Our home will be the 4★ Adults-Only Artiem Carlos in Es Castell, where windows open to sweeping views across the vast Mediterranean Sea. Step onto the terrace and you’ll feel the salty breeze on your skin, hear the distant call of seabirds, and watch the light dance across the water. It’s a place where your soul can finally exhale.

Imagine…
✨ Greeting the day with morning meditation as the sun rises, warm light spilling over the sea
✨ Letting tension dissolve in the spa, the outdoor pool, or the sea-view jacuzzi
✨ Savouring soulful, nourishing conversations with women who feel like old friends
✨ Lying back, listening to the hush of the waves, with nothing to do and nowhere to be
✨ Finding the stillness and space to dream, reflect, and remember what matters most
Why Menorca?
Because it’s more than a destination, it’s my second home. My aunt has lived here for 50 years, and Es Castell was where my grandparents chose to spend the final chapter of their lives. I’ve walked these streets and swam in these waters for over 30 years, and each visit feels like coming home to peace. This island carries the scent of wild rosemary, the sound of cicadas on warm afternoons, and the promise of deep, unhurried presence.
This is your invitation to step away, breathe deeply, and let Menorca’s beauty hold you – so you can return to yourself, rested and renewed.

Is this retreat for you?
This retreat is designed for professional women who are ready to pause, breathe, and reconnect. You’ll feel at home here if you are:
✨ A woman with a busy career or business who rarely makes time just for herself
✨ Longing for more than just a holiday …seeking depth, reflection, and inner growth
✨ Open to mindfulness and meditation practices, even if you’re not “experienced”
✨ Ready to switch off from responsibilities and be fully cared for
✨ Craving nourishing conversations and connection with like-minded women
✨ Desiring rest, clarity, and a gentle reset so you can return renewed
Retreat Overview
Each day on retreat is carefully designed to balance rest, exploration, and inner nourishment. You’ll have time to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with yourself – with plenty of space for both stillness and joy.
Here’s what you can look forward to:
- Morning meditation to greet the day, followed by a leisurely breakfast overlooking the sea
- Time for you to relax by the pool, unwind in the spa, read in the sunshine, workout in the gym or wander the charming port towns of Es Castell or Mahon
- Optional excursion to Es Grau, a beautiful natural reserve where you can hire a paddleboard or kayak, walk the coastal nature trail, or simply enjoy the beach with a good book in hand
- Evening meals together in the hotel’s restaurant, offering a wide range of fresh and flavourful Mediterranean-inspired cuisine
- Mindfulness experiences and holistic wellbeing practices woven throughout the retreat to deepen your sense of presence and connection
- Sharing circles – open, supportive spaces to tune into your true needs, share openly, and be deeply heard
This retreat isn’t about rushing or ticking off activities, it’s about creating a rhythm that feels restorative, expansive, and aligned with you.

Meet Your Hosts

Hi, I’m Amy J, owner of La Vida Lagom. I am an intentional living and mindfulness coach, a qualified meditation teacher, and someone deeply passionate about creating spaces where women can come home to themselves.
My work is about more than teaching practices; it’s about holding space. Space for women to open their hearts and minds. Space to have their voices heard. Space to step away from the noise of daily life and reconnect with who they truly are.
Through mindfulness, meditation, and intentional living, I guide women to slow down, tune in, and rediscover their own clarity, courage, and calm. Hosting retreats is one of my greatest joys, because it allows me to weave together stillness, connection, and transformation in a way that feels both nourishing and life-changing.
Hi, I’m Michelle of Tranquillity Holistic. I discovered my passion for holistic wellbeing during my first pregnancy, when Reflexology offered me powerful relief and the space to prepare my body and mind for motherhood. What began as personal healing quickly grew into a lifelong calling to share the benefits of relaxation, balance, and calm with others.
I create safe, nurturing spaces where women can deeply rest, release stress, and restore harmony.
On this retreat, I will co-host alongside Amy, bringing my calming presence and wealth of experience. I will guide holistic wellbeing practices, offer supportive tools such as self-reflexology, and hold space for women to reconnect with themselves on a deeper level.

What do women who have retreated with me say?
“Not having attended a retreat like this before I didn’t know what to expect but have been blown away by the impact it has had on me. I experienced many new things in a supportive no pressure environment.”
“After joining Amy’s retreat, I left feeling more grounded, confident, and connected to a community of inspiring women. It gave me space to reset and return to work and daily life with a renewed sense of purpose.”
“Amy’s weekend was a thoughtful and revitalising weekend that I now know I need to do at least once a year. I felt safe, pampered, and cared for, as well as having fun and vibrant moments with the retreat community.”

The Venue
ARTIEM Carlos is a hotel I have stayed at many times over my years visiting Menorca and I have found it to be an excellent experience every time. The staff are friendly and helpful, the food is fresh and tasty, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the views are inspiring.
One of the reasons I enjoy staying at ARTIEM hotels is their sustainability ethos which aligns with the principles of Lagom and environmental wellbeing. ARTIEM’s purpose is to “inspire people to be happy” and to achieve this, they have the goal of being a Net Positive organisation. That means creating positive impact for all their stakeholders. To achieve this, they are developing and implementing a portfolio of projects that work directly at the source of problems, rather than their consequences.
Feel free to take a look at what they have on offer here: ARTIEM Carlos – Hotel in Es Castells – Menorca | ARTIEM Hotels ©

This is a retreat – not a vacation…
Whilst a vacation offers rest and escape from daily life, a retreat is something deeper.
It’s an intentional space to reconnect with yourself – to disconnect from your usual responsibilities and to create space for introspection.
A retreat is a period of time dedicated to stepping outside of your daily life, to focus on self-reflection, spiritual growth and personal development – mind, body, and soul.
A vacation is about getting away. A retreat is about going within.
On a vacation, you unwind. On a retreat, you transform.
This experience is designed to help you slow down, reflect, and realign — with supportive guidance, nourishing practices, and a community of like-minded women by your side. It’s not just time off — it’s time for you.
