Stop telling them they need better time management.
It’s not their calendar. It’s not a lack of discipline. And it’s definitely not that they haven’t found the right hack yet.
It’s that there are only 24 hours in a day. Maybe 8 for sleep (if you’re lucky). 8 for work. And the rest?
Commutes. School runs. Life admin. Meals. Relationships. Exercise. It gets eaten up – fast.
No amount of optimisation creates more time. So when women feel stretched, working while thinking about home, at home while thinking about work – that’s not poor time management. That’s too much on one plate.
You don’t need another system. You need less to hold. Because trying to fit everything in is where the guilt creeps in, feeling like you’re always slightly behind, or not quite giving enough anywhere.
You’re not failing. You’re at capacity.
And you’re allowed to choose what matters. You’re allowed to let some things be good enough.
