The Power of a Check-In

How are you feeling today, really?

On Monday, during a weekly mindset session I co-host, someone said:

“Can you believe we’re halfway through July? Before we know it, it’ll be Christmas again!”

And it made me think.

As adults—especially as women, we’re constantly planning for what’s next. We’re future-focused: always a few steps ahead, making sure we are prepared, organised, making sure everything’s in place and everyone’s needs are taken care of.

👉 Planning meals
👉 Organising work
👉 Juggling family, friends, and responsibilities
👉 Preparing for what’s next… and then the next thing after that

We’re constantly moving forward—but here’s the thing:
When we don’t pause, time speeds by.

We run the risk of being so focused on the next task or event on the calendar, we can miss the moment we’re in.

That’s when I realised…

Maybe time doesn’t just fly when you’re having fun—maybe it flies because you’re not stopping long enough to notice it.

We forget to pause.
To be present.
To acknowledge what’s actually happening and how we are feeling in the here and now.

That’s why I created the Final Friday Women’s Wellbeing Circle—a gentle invitation to slow down, reflect, and reset.

Just one hour a month to recognise what you’ve moved through and to refill your cup before the next wave arrives.

✨ Our virtual circle is held on the last Friday of each month – starting on Friday 25 July – and you’re warmly invited – head to my upcoming events to learn more.
